With this radio mute Drive & Talk (Radio Mute) your handsfree CarKit can be connected in no time to your car radio/ navigation system - power supply, mute function and voice playback of your conversation partner are inclusive and there is no additional wiring required.

The integrated switch over box switches the left and right front speakers to the handsfree CarKit for voice playback during the phone call, the other speakers in the car mute due to the mute function of the radio. The Drive & Talk (Radio Mute) radio mutes are mostly applied if the car is equipped with an Active System and a simpler mute switch cannot be implemented. Active Systems are highgrade factory sound systems, which provide a better sound due to an additional amplifier installed in the car.

The installation can be processed without damaging the original vehicle cable harness - the Drive & Talk (Radio Mute) shall simply be connected via plug & play between radio and cable harness and can be easily uninstalled, therefore it is perfect for the installation of handsfree CarKits into Leasing cars.
